How to make an on-trend tassel with next to no hassle

How to make an on-trend tassel with next to no hassle.

What you need:

Wool – any colour of your choice

A darning needle

Card

Scissors

The Process:

Cut a piece of card twice the length of your desired tassel.

Fold the card in half and start to wrap the wool around it until it’s the desired thickness.

Thread a darning needle with a length of wool and leave the strands unknotted.

Lace the wool along the folded edge of the card, take the needle out and tie the ends together to secure.

Cut the wool along the open end of the card to create your tassel.

Take another length of wool and tie a knot around your tassel a short distance from the top.

All that’s left to do, is trim the ends.

Tie the top strands and attach to your gift.
