Development Executive

Dani Carlaw joined Raise the Roof Productions in March 2017 as Development Executive for Science and Specialist Factual.  For her, broadening the company’s portfolio into the specialist factual sphere is both an exciting challenge and a real privilege.

Previously, Dani was a series producer for Science and Arts content for BBC One’s national treasure ‘The One Show’. She’s produced and directed landmark high ratings winning series such as ‘How to Stay Young’ for BBC One, 'Trust Me I’m a Doctor’ for BBC Two, and BBC Four’s BAFTA winning ‘Afterlife: The Strange Science of Decay’, for which she received a Grierson Award.  Dani also has a varied experience in factual, features and daytime - series producing 'Money for Nothing’ for BBC One, and ‘Kirstie’s Vintage Home’ and ‘Kirstie’s Best of Both Worlds’ for Channel 4 and Raise the Roof.
