Head of Popular Factual

Jo worked with Raise the Roof on a variety of projects before joining the company as an Executive Producer in 2017. She has since been promoted to Head of Poplular Factual. Jo has executive produced Best of Both Worlds, Secret Agent and a ten part daytime series of Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas for Channel 4 and was joint executive producer on Phil Spencer: Find Me a Home, a current affairs documentary focussing on the plight of Britain’s hidden homeless families.

Jo brings an incredibly eclectic set of skills and experience, having delivered programming across a wide range of genres. She has a proven track record in features, series producing Location Location Location and current affairs, as Series Producer on Supershoppers, where she set the tone and format for what has gone on to be a successful brand for Channel 4. She has also delivered large studio shows; Time Commanders for BBC 4; classic access-led observational documentaries; Big Body Squad and Animal Maternity for 5 and archive and nostalgia shows: The TV That Made Me for BBC One and It Was Alright in the 70s for Channel 4.
