Winter is a busy, but joyous time on Kate’s farm. Her main focus is the precious crop of lambs she hopes her sheep will produce in the Spring. But before there can be lambs there needs to be mating, or tupping as it’s known. So, the rams are in town.

Meanwhile, there’s hedge laying to be getting on with and after a hard day there’s nothing better than a twilight walk. Kate grabs the torch and night vision camera for a bit of badger spotting.  

Having visited a local cider producer, Kate heads home to cook up a feast for her nearest and dearest, so it’s boots and wellies off and time to light the fire for a good old nosh up as we say goodbye to another memorable year on the farm.
